I was born and raised in Medicine Hat, always loving this city I call home. I live here with my husband and 2 daughters who you will even see working/ helping at the markets.  In order to do the best job I could with the markets for the vendors and the customers, and to better myself, I pursued more education from Mount Royal and graduated with an Event Management Extension Certificate, I also have Marketing and Events Skills Certificate of Completion, in 2017.

I started Something for Everyone Market January 2011 to help promote crafters in Medicine Hat. We started in the basement of the Coast Hotel with 15 tables and we have since grown to 148 booths.  Our regular markets have on average 80 booths with everything from direct sales, crafters, artists to small store front businesses.

We have vendors who come from all over Alberta, Saskatchewan and now are starting to draw in vendors from British Columbia and Ontario. The vendors and I have become a very large close knit community of people who love what we do and want to show off our products.

I schedule the Something for Everyone Markets on a regular basis so if someone runs out of their favorite products they can come by and grab a refill or purchase a special gift for someone. We have a small trade show feel with the community and it is always free admission for the public to attend. This allows everyone on a budget to get out and see what the vendors have to offer. I hear on a regular basis from the public that they love that I have free admission to everyone so all can enjoy it. The Something for Everyone Market averages 1400-2100 people in the doors for our 1 day events, more for the 2 days. Our best event ever has been Canada Day, 2022. We are looking forward to it again for 2023 in hopes of having more then the previous 6700+ attendees in the door.

We also try to have a non profit in the lobby of our events to give back to the community. We have dealt with Saving Old Souls, Medicine Hat Red Cross, The Food Bank, Woman’s Shelter, Medicine Hat Fire Dept, Bikers are Buddies and many others.  All of these non-profits do wonderful work and I am very proud Something for Everyone Market is able to help.

I am always looking for a variety of vendors for men, woman, & kids, and I’m always out in the community looking everywhere for people to try our little market. I keep prices reasonable so everyone can come and give it a try at least once but I have people coming to the markets who have been with me for years. Anyone can register for the markets on my website, www.somethingforeveryonemarket.com . Also on the website you can see reviews, dates, confirmed vendors, costs, table layouts, location, time, advertising opportunities, and the different ways we advertise.
